Project Description:
Structural evaluation design was implemented on a group of five duplex apartments, with two basements, made of reinforced concrete. The structure consists of two independent buildings (building A and building B), with a total area of approximately 1115 m2 and 1045m2 each. The project was carried out in the framework of the arrangement of arbitrary modifications on the building, due to the amalgamation of the second basements.
Documentation of the structural system and evaluation of all the required tests of the load-bearing elements of the building, which are described in the Intervention Code, were also included in our services, such as radar scanning of reinforced concrete elements for the detection of steel rebars, exposure of steel rebars, carbonation test (use of phenolphthalein solution) and rebound hummer test.
