The scope of the current project was the design of both the platform of box-shaped cross-section and their steel shelters for the OSE suburban railway Loutraki and Kazino Stations. The platforms’ length is 180m, whereas the Loutraki station consists of two platforms for both directions. The current structural design was implemented in the framework of the Extension of the Suburban Railway at the part of Isthmos-Loutraki which is supposed to be connected to the existing High Speed Railway among the Airport – Corinth – Kiato – Aigio.

The deliverable of this project is the detailed design of the structure including both construction detail drawings and detailed bill of quantities of the amount of concrete, steel reinforcement rebars (bar bending schedule) and formworks of the platforms of the Loutraki and Kazino Stations. Furthermore, the detailed design of the steel shelters was also implemented including both the steel connection drawings and the calculation of the weight of the steel members and the amount of fire-proofing paint needed.
